Midterm Predictions

My picks haven't been too good the last two cycles. I thought the Republicans would hold on in 2006 and they lost a lot of elections by 1% or 2%. The same thing happened in 2008, although Obama took a majority of the electorate for the first time since 1964 for a Democrat.

Those gains are about to be reversed.

The Dems won by running on a lie (WMDs in Iraq) and an attempt to lose a war. It was truly disgusting, but it would be surpassed in 2008 when the American people elected a socialist as President of the United States. The Republic has never been in graver danger, but the Founders gave us the solution. Elections. Today will be historic.

I predict that success for the Tea Party will be defined by 60 House seats and 9 Senate seats. I predict 101 House seats and 11 Senate seats. Today should be fun.
