The Experiment
Founding Father John Adams said that we study war, so our grandchildren can study music and philosophy. The American experiment has proven that change in leadership is possible without bloodshed. That isn't true for most of history.
America changed in 2008 when it elected a socialist as president. However, the beauty of the system is that we have not become a socialist nation. We are only socialists until 2012. Actually, we are only socialists until January 2011, when the new House and Senate take office. Until then more dastardly things might happen. But the rats will be swept off the ship by an election, not a revolution.
